horrific events of September 11th caused us to reflect on our emergency
preparedness and disaster planning.Here are some suggestions
that you may want to consider:
Maintain an off-site back-up system for your computer
files.
Obtain cell phone numbers for all employees for
emergencies.
Keep emergency equipment in your car.
Maintain out of state point of contact for you, family
members and employees (with employee info at the office and at your home).
Familiarize yourself with exits when you are in commercial
buildings.
Install fire extinguishers and smoke detectors in your
home and annually check operations.
